EmoCare AI ("EmoCare AI," "we," "our," or "us") is operated by TriStar International LLC. EmoCare is an emotional wellness and reflection companion for adults 18 years and older. It is not medical care, therapy, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services.
EmoCare is intended only for adults 18+. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, contact emergency services, a licensed healthcare provider, or your local crisis hotline immediately.
Emotional Check-ins, Journal entries, AI conversation messages (Talk and Oracle), and technical information necessary to operate the app. Journal entries, Check-ins, and Memory Ledger data remain stored locally on your device.
We use information to provide EmoCare services, generate AI responses, maintain app functionality, improve reliability and security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Anthropic: Before you use Talk or Oracle for the first time, EmoCare displays a consent dialog identifying Anthropic as the third-party AI service. You must tap 'I Understand — Start Talking' before any AI conversation data is transmitted. Only the text messages you choose to send through Talk and Oracle are transmitted to Anthropic to generate responses. Journal entries, Check-ins, and Memory Ledger data are not transmitted to Anthropic. Messages are transmitted securely over HTTPS. EmoCare does not store AI conversation messages long-term on its own servers for this purpose. Anthropic processes data under its commercial API terms, and customer content submitted through applicable commercial APIs is not used to train Anthropic's generative AI models.
Tavily: Oracle may use Tavily to retrieve publicly available information from the internet in response to user requests.
Journal entries, Check-ins, and Memory Ledger remain on your device. AI conversations are processed only when you choose to use Talk or Oracle after consent. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
Memory Ledger helps provide continuity across your reflections. You may delete your memories at any time.
You may delete journals, Check-ins, Memory Ledger entries, and use Delete All Data in Settings.
